i am very very very very very very very (VERY) impressed with our fac dance showcase yesterday night. how the whole cohort jumped together right after the "music makes you lose control, music makes you lose control", how everyyyoooneeeee no matter j1 or j2, held together by the common passion for our amazing faculty, SCREAMED GET DOWN HIT THE FLOOR! and A-PO-LLO HIT IT! it was truly amazing :)
JIAYI! i know i said this one million times already. make this the no. millionth and one-th time. I AM SUPER PROUD OF YOU! SO SO PROUD. *beams* and THOMAS! two of you! haha i think all the messages/comments on all your blogs have said everything that was felt by the rest of apollo, CAN YOU FEEL THE POWER BEHIND YOU! i can still remember how the two of you conjured up the various omgdope1 to combinedOMG11 to combinedOMGGGGG (HAHAHA) to APOLLO'S SECRET WEAPON. :D from bout it to sexyback, from rua to salt centre to the gym in helen's condooooo to the platform you two stand today. we all know you guys have come a loong way to create the legendary apollo fac dance 2008 (: APOLLO! we know we were so so damn good okay. and thats seriously what matters the MOST. AS YOU CAN SEE, I SURVIVED THE WORST PART OF THE WEEK. why is the school spamming us with tests:( to make us feel normal when it comes to tests aaaah. like what you do everyday. so it will be fine in As. i think it was like that in p6. ah whatever. i still have like bio math and chem tutorials undone (i dao econs :X) and there is a freaking gp compo test again next monday and im lagging behind math like crazy. ANYWAY im here to liven up this boring black screen with some photos hahahaha my sister hasnt uploaded the cny ones so here's some look into what we have been doing for chinGAY. :D
speaking of chingay... i think i've never seen so many cameras in my whole life, whats more with them all snapping away at you cause they've never seen such WEIRD costumes their whole lives. but YAY to loud and crazy firecrackers and beautiful fireworks. ...how many times do you see fireworks up SO CLOSE with no need to nudge or squeeze the people beside you. to see the fireworks exploding in the night sky and then look like the sparks are falling ON YOU. :D its beautiful (:

whoo happy chinese new year everyone(:
the long break was good, though it kinda ends today and its back to school tmr :( i heart my cousins <3 yuanfeng hongling shihui shirui ruishan jiayi(my sister) nicholas peiyi jiawei(brother) (: 10 of us altogether! :D all of us used to gather at my grandma's house every saturday.. been doing so ever since we were born haha. but as we grow older, my biao ge kinda stopped going. then we see him like maybe twice every year or sth. and he's like 21 years old now omg la but somehow he still dont look 21 to me, i think i'll forever see him as the 8 year old biao ge when im 5 haha. and i think starting from last year, i stopped going back on sat too even though i was living at my grandma's house then. and yeaaa very soon all of us kinda stayed away and saturday was no longer a "family" day but just one of the days of the week! hmm. its nice to see everyone gathered together. though chu yi was spent nuahing and wasting the day away at my grandma's house. chu er and yesterday were more fun, played cards haha and got to see my biao ge again. :D won some money at cards yeay. as we grow older i think the magic and the whole festive mood of cny sort of faded.. didnt even find shopping for new year clothes very fun.. sort of rushed the shopping and still couldnt find anything. it was exasperating and not fun at all. and cny somehow didnt seem as happening and as grand and as fun and as loud as the previous years when i was small. haha maybe when you're small you look at everything it all seems so big and grand and happening:)
was supposed to go heather's house yesterday night but had to go my aunty's instead. didnt regret though, i go my aunty's house like maybe once a year. and it was fun playing cards. today was supposed to have an m.a.d outing/reunion dinner haha but guess what whoo i changed then fell asleep-.- and everyone keeps daoing my messages so i dont know who's going to be there and everything. so when i woke up i changed back to home clothes took off my contacts and came online. haiiiiiii. shall go and attempt to do some work soon.
took a walk with my uncle (da jiu) to the shops near my aunty's house yesterday after dinner. he was telling me about life, and about how he used to give tuition to get money to pay his school fees, about how he wanted to continue studying but cant cause they were too poor so he came out to work. haha, it seems very typical of what the adults always say, but somehow when he said all those stuff yesterday it felt different haha. like he's not teaching me or scolding me to not spend too much money, but sharing with him (part of) his life story:) i think he's the only adult who doesnt treat us like little kids, and ever since we were young, even though he doesnt have time, he always tries to be there, always makes random jokes which are sometimes not very funny HAHA, takes every opportunity to share with us about life, how life was for him and how it has changed, but never saying we take stuff for granted because he says he trusts us and believes that we can think for ourselves and make our own decisions. very supportive of whatever we do even though he barely knows half the things we're doing hahaha. i really love my da jiu alot. :D
